Andrea LADÁNYI - She finished her studies in 1981 at the Hungarian Ballet Academy.

From 1981 to 1986 she was the solo dancer of the Ballet Company of Gyõr led by Iván Markó. Then she studied ballet, modern dance and jazz dance in Toronto, New York and Los Angeles. She went to Helsinki, Finland in 1989 where she became the solo dancer of the Helsinki City Theatre, then of The National Opera of Finland.

Ladányi founded her own company, La dance company in 1995. She has been head of the Movement Department at the Academy of Drama and Film (SzFE) since 2002.

Her awards include Liszt Award, Harangozó Award and Artist of Merit.
