Marlon SCHUMACHER was born in 1978. He has received lessons in classical instrumental music (piano and violin) and has gained orchestra experience.

The early need to overcome musical-interaction paradigms inspired his interest in electronic, e. g. computer music, which led him to developping first computer programs written in Basic and with the age of 14 to first releases of own productions on independent record-labels for electronic music.

Beside impulses by the experimental electronic music, as well as the foundation of the electronic-fusion-ensemble AUDIAC, he studied Music Sciences, Philosophy and Media Informatics in Tübingen, which also contributed to the challenge to switch the University with the University Of Music And Performing Arts, Stuttgart in 2002, where he is being taught by Prof. Marco STROPPA.

He has interacted with various Institutes and his artistic spectrum includes multimedia compositions, film and stage music, computer-aided "improvised music" (audio-visual interaction), as well as turntable-art in the context of spontaneous and reproducable music.
